Together with Simon Fraser University, Interior Health and other partners, SHIFT Collaborative is hosting the first symposium of its kind in BC, drawing a multi-sector group of actors from across the Interior Region and the province of BC who have a stake in addressing the intersections of climate change and health for our communities. Together, we will gather and share some of the best thinking and practice happening locally, regionally and beyond, and apply this to the particular challenges facing us as we work to translate knowledge into community planning and action. The forum will culminate in the creation of a shared Framework for Action related to health and climate change, with a focus on policy and planning at the local and regional level.
