The problem they came to us with
How might we identify and prioritize vulnerabilities to climate change and develop adaptation options for the BC Parks West Coast Region?

Our work
SHIFT lead a participatory adaptation planning process drawing on the expertise of BC Parks and project partners from the Ka:’yu:’k’t’h’/Che:k:tles7et’h’ First Nations (KCFNs). Through a series of six workshops, participants identified priority vulnerabilities and generated a range of adaptation options. SHIFT also conducted a developmental evaluation process to inform the project and reflect on lessons learned through the process.
