Our work
In collaboration with Ebbwater Consulting Inc. and Ursus Resilient Strategies Inc., SHIFT Collaborative supported the development of a preliminary risk profile for the North Shore, the evaluation of existing practices of emergency management and disaster risk reduction in the three North Shore municipalities, and the development of a strategic plan and recommendations for a collaborative resilience framework.

This process included co-leading workshops with municipal staff and stakeholders to build understanding and networks, conducting a hazard, risk, and vulnerability assessment for the region, and facilitating multiple strategic planning workshops with NSEM management staff to discuss governance for a resilience framework and an actionable roadmap for implementation.
