How might we strengthen social connectedness amongst social housing tenants to increase emergency preparedness and resilience?
Our work
We are collaborating with Building Resilient Neighbourhoods to support BC Housing and their partner organizations to design, pilot and implement long-term tenant engagement programming which enhances community resilience.
The goal of the project is to strengthen social connectedness and emergency preparedness amongst tenants at 5 Directly Managed BC Housing sites and ultimately lessen the risks of extreme weather events for social housing tenants through supporting the development of healthy, active and inclusive housing communities.
